The room at Ullensvang Gjesteheim was cozy and comfortable, making me instantly feel at home. The private bathroom with a shower was a major plus, and I loved having a seating area where I could relax and unwind after a long day. The desk provided was also a nice touch for any work or planning I needed to do during my stay. the room had everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable.
Personally, I found the wash basin in the room to be a bit small for my liking. However, I understand that this is a subjective opinion, and others may not mind it at all.

We had a blast exploring the Folgefonna Glacier on a guided tour. It was super cool to learn about the glacier while having an amazing natural experience. And let me tell you, the water slide at the swimming pool was insane! We had so much fun racing down and splashing into the pool. Plus, the trail offered mind-blowing fjord views and the panorama of the Folgefonna glacier was breathtaking. And don't even get me started on biking and hiking in Hardangervidda National Park! So much adventure! We also loved that the hotel had great access to all these activities. Totally stoked!
If there's one thing we could ask for, it would be more late-night party options. We were a group of young, party-loving people and we wished there was a happening nightclub or a cool bar nearby where we could dance and have a wild time.

We had great access to a variety of activities, including guided tours of Folgefonna Glacier. It was a fantastic natural experience that also provided us with knowledge about the glacier. The trail near the hotel offered stunning fjord views and a panorama of Folgefonna glacier. We also enjoyed renting bicycles and exploring Hardangervidda National Park.
My children wanted more options for play and fun in the swimming pool.

We had an amazing stay at Ullensvang Gjesteheim. the location was breathtaking with the river, fjord, and mountains surrounding us. the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. the breakfast provided was delicious, and the evening meal in the restaurant was excellent with a personal and friendly service. the traditional building added to the Norwegian vibes, and the presence of a river in the garden created a charming atmosphere. the accommodation had plenty of facilities for planning walks and activities, and the owner was kind and assisted us with everything we needed. On-site parking was available, and the views from the Gjestheim were simply stunning. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!
Nothing to complain about at all. 😊.
